Complete Kit (you must choose a motor option)

Our complete kit comes fully assembled and ready to go. Included is our custom, ASA plastic, weatherproof housing, one motor of your choice and one flange coupling. The motor is prewired with a fused plug and also a daisy chained, female plug so you can plug in additional accessories. There's even a spare fuse and spare motor shaft seal included. There is an O-ring in the lid and a cable gland which makes the housing water resistant. Some motor shafts are drilled by us with additional indentations to match with the set screws. We always recommend Loctite on the set screws!

The basic kit comes with the basic 5-6 RPM CW/CCW motor. Some motor options come with a price increase. Pay attention to if a motor is CW/CCW or just CW. If the motor is CW/CCW, you can install it so that the motor shaft contacts a stop, which will cause the motor to reverse direction. You can install two separate stops to cause the motor to move back and forth between those two points. Please be aware, these motors have PLASTIC gears inside and can strip if subjected to high torque scenarios. The higher the RPM, the less torque the motor has. The heavier the object is that you want the motor to lift, the lower the speed will have to be. These are NOT high torque motors. Use caution when designing your props!

This housing is made from high strength ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate). We use ASA for its high impact strength, rigidity, and most importantly, its UV resistance.

CAUTION!.....This housing is not waterproof and is therefore not meant to be submerged or subject to constant water exposure. The housing is meant to protect your motor from rain and various weather conditions only. Any other use is at your own risk.

IMPORTANT!......The four ears are for screwing down to wood or bolting to metal. We recommend using a washer with your screws bolts to spread the load. Don't tighten too heavily with an impact drill. Remember that this is plastic.
