Motor Housing only

This is for only our custom, ASA plastic, weatherproof motor housing. No motor, flange or wiring included. This housing will fit most 120V synchronous motors on the market and they will match with the four locater bumps. There is an O-ring in the lid and a cable gland which makes the housing water resistant. This housing will also ship with two o-rings (one is a spare) to seal the motor shaft hole.

This housing is made from high strength ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate). We use ASA for its high impact strength, rigidity, and most importantly, its UV resistance.

CAUTION!.....This housing is not waterproof and is therefore not meant to be submerged or subject to constant water exposure. The housing is meant to protect your motor from rain and various weather conditions only. Any other use is at your own risk.

IMPORTANT!......The four ears are for screwing down to wood. We recommend using a washer with your screws to spread the load. Don't tighten too heavily with an impact drill.
